Lisa Villanueva has been an Insurance Agent since 1999. She has spent most of her professional career in sales and serving roles.

For the past 23 years, Lisa is the Principal Agent of the Villanueva Insurance Agency. She specializes in Commercial Insurance, Private Client Insurance, and Boat Insurance. When she is not meeting with clients to discuss and review coverage, she is running the day-to-day operations of the Villanueva Insurance Agency.

Her agency received Champion Award Status from Nationwide Insurance for its success and accomplishments with Nationwide products.

She has completed and achieved the Commercial Lines Coverage Specialist (CLCS) designation., furthering her knowledge in the commercial insurance industry.

Lisa has accomplished the goal of becoming an Independent Insurance Agency as of July 1, 2020. She has spent the past two years obtaining Insurance Carriers to better service her clients. The additional Insurance Carriers allow Lisa to offer her policyholders many choices.

She was the Political Advocacy Chair Board Member for two years of the local National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors. She received Agent of the Year in 2017 for her continued role and dedication to NAIFA. Hard work and tenacity have helped Lisa get to where she is today. She believes when you believe in yourself you will succeed.

Lisa is an accomplished 1st mate. She and her husband single-handily captained their boat from Virginia Beach to the Hudson River in New York. This past winter she helped her husband captains the boat to Fort Pierce Florida from Virginia Beach and back.

At home, Lisa is the wife of an extraordinary husband Jim and mother to an amazing successful son Zachary. When not at home working in her yard you can find Lisa on her boat.

Ashley Magerkurth is a Licensed Property & Casualty Insurance Producer with Hampton Roads Insurance & Financial Services. Before transitioning into insurance, she spent more than 16 years in property management, where she advanced from Customer Service Associate to Regional Manager. Throughout her career, she managed a wide range of residential communities, including student housing, senior living, conventional apartments, and high-rise properties across Hampton Roads and Northern Virginia. That experience gave her a deep understanding of protecting homes, businesses, and the people who depend on them.

As a licensed Property & Casualty Insurance Producer, Ashley is committed to helping individuals, families, and business owners protect what matters most. She provides personalized guidance, educates clients on their coverage options, and compares policies from a variety of trusted insurance carriers to help each client find coverage that provides the right protection for their unique needs and budget. Whether she’s reviewing a homeowner’s policy, protecting a small business, or assisting with commercial insurance, Ashley believes every client deserves honest advice, responsive service, and an advocate they can trust.

A Virginia Beach resident, Ashley enjoys spending time with her husband, their four children, and their golden retriever, Cooper. When she’s not helping clients, you’ll often find her and her family enjoying the beach, reading a good book, and making memories together throughout Coastal Virginia

Aimee comes to us with a unique background in education and finance. She graduated college with a degree in teaching and taught English for many years. After teaching, Aimee joined the banking world and held various positions from teller to bank manager. While working full time, Aimee completed her MBA.

Aimee is originally from Upstate New York and excited to be a part of the Hampton Roads Insurance and Financial Services team. Her extensive customer service experience and dedication to her clients makes her a valuable asset.

In her free time, Aimee enjoys spending time with her children Cody, Christy and Matthew. She loves to travel whenever possible and has been to more countries than states. She enjoys doing anything outside and staying active. Aimee is excited to bring her passion for helping others to her new role!
